Here's the rundown
$300 Deposit
-Beef is sold by the half and/or quarter.
-Pricing is based on the hanging weight.
-Current pricing is $8.00/lb on the hanging weight
-The average South Poll beef is 250 lbs hanging weight for a half beef or 125 lbs for a quarter.
-You can expect about 160 lbs of packaged meat for a half of beef and it will fit in a small chest freezer.
